Vindictive - Practice Titles #1

We have been tasked with completing a title for our film which we will incorporate into the end of our film after the ending shot. We plan to make our titles emphasise the action movie qualities of our film and we believe this is best done with some certain aspects which we can portray in our movie title including it being: Bold
                                   - Darkly coloured
                                   - outlined
                                   - somewhat italic

This was the first practice title i made, which helps involve the title of our film but also incorporates a red sharp stripe located directly behind, this emphasises the title to the audience and allows the audience to compare this to other action movies with a similar title layout. We decided that red would be an appropriate colour behind the main title for our first practice as we believe that this can help contrast the blood and gore often associated with action films which could help the audience relate more to the title we created.

We decided that it would be best to have more than just a title as it is often portrayed in action movies that the titles are ever shown with a small design to go with it or the titles can also be portrayed over a moving camera shot. This is shown in movies such as Skyfall which showcase the title along with a panning shot of the river in which we see the protagonist fall into.

We believe that this title is suitable to use in our film as it helps portray qualities shown in action movies and also emphasises the ability of our characters and the red helps showcase what the audience may expect to see in our film if it went past the beginning.
